Shifting into Dubai mode is going to be very, very easy, if today is any indication: Slept until noon (I did get in late from Istanbul); went for a jog at about 4; the highlight of the day was going to this indian restaurant on the Jumeira Beach Walk for Dosas- India's crepe, using rice flour and filled with anything from curried potatoes to broccoli and white cheddar cheese to tomato and onion. All you can eat; served rapid fire right of the grill. The challenge is to get through their entire Dosa menu. Couldn't quite make it. Too much too quick. Nothing to cry about, I ate more in one sitting than I'm sure 3 or 4 Indians do on a daily basis. US gluttony has reached the Middle East... I guess it's much worse than that... I've heard stories about Pizza Hut being quite a delicacy among many out here.
